Mokolade Johnson

Mokọ́ládé Johnson. PhD, MNIA. 

He is a Senior Lecturer, urbanist, Editorial member, Nigerian Institute of Architects Library and Publications Committee. Administrator at the Architecture & Urbanism Research Hub, University of Lagos. His PhD research is on wellbeing in public residential communities. Appointed West Africa’s Coordinator for the 2023 UIA-Great Green Wall Students Single Stage Idea Competition at the World Congress in Copenhagen. Current Co-Chair for Africa Outreach at Climate Heritage Network (CHN) and Co-Chair, Commonwealth Association of Architects’ Knowledge Sharing Partnership (KSP). His study concerns the epistemics and intersections of architectural metaphor, health, wellbeing and cultural urbanism. He is currently working on ‘Decarbonization of the Built-Environment Through Heritage (DBTH) funded by the Mellon Foundation. 
He is the incoming Pioneer Sub-Dean for the New Faculty of Architecture at the University of Lagos.
